The Haake family had a wonderful Christmas. It was nice to enjoy a year where the children were content with what they got and even more happy with what they gave. I find that little boys seem to be very easy to please. A car would do it I guess. However Jack opened each gift with a, "Whoa" and kept all his things in a pile.
I was touched by the kindness of people this year. Neighbors brought cookie plates and thoughtful cards. Someone chose to do the 12 days of Christmas for us. The kids listened for the door bell every night in excitement. I loved looking at the cards in the mail and thinking of people that have effected my life so much, still sending their support.
