A friend of mine took a snap shot for me at the girl's Christmas program. Miracle but all of our eyes were open! I went home and made a card on line and sent it in. Lucky for 1 hour photo, actually got a card made and sent before Christmas.

Christmas 2008
The Haake family had a wonderful Christmas. It was nice to enjoy a year where the children were content with what they got and even more happy with what they gave. I find that little boys seem to be very easy to please. A car would do it I guess. However Jack opened each gift with a, "Whoa" and kept all his things in a pile.
I was touched by the kindness of people this year. Neighbors brought cookie plates and thoughtful cards. Someone chose to do the 12 days of Christmas for us. The kids listened for the door bell every night in excitement. I loved looking at the cards in the mail and thinking of people that have effected my life so much, still sending their support. Merry Christmas To All, and thank you.

Haake Halloween 2008
The Haake children had a great Halloween. It rained but it was warmer than most years so they really filled their bags. India was a Tokyo Mew Mew, Ireland a Pokemon Ranger, Sienna a Sumo wrestler till her costume pump blew and then she quick changed to the Corpse Bride. Gigi was Princess Leia, Kimber/spider man and Jack Jack was a Pirate that didn't do anything, although he did a lot. John wore Jack's pirate beard for part of the night and creepy but looked like Bin Laden. Not a big comfort to his dear, angelic wife. Hehe Happy Halloween!!!
