Haake Halloween 2009
With the warm weather it made Halloween a lot of fun. India, our eldest, is now, "too cool" for Halloween. She and her friends went bowling and then watched movies at the Haake home. They had a great time. As for the rest of the Haakes, we carved pumpkins, went to the school carnival, enjoyed trunk or treats, hit a few homes in the neighborhood, then back to the house for candy and Halloween shows. With the extra friends it made for a great party. Jack is still pretending trick or treats and holds his bucket up for a fill. What a wonderful Halloween it was in Twin Falls this year!

Haake girls are back in school!!!
The Haake girls are back in school and sporting uniforms! I may be prejudice as their mom but I think they look darling. The laundry is a lot more fun for me as well. India is going to her first year of Seminary and really loves it. Poor Ireland is not just angry, she got the flu for the first day of school. Ended up going for an hour but was not happy over missing the excitement. Kimber was thrilled over school for the first couple of days. She's done now and ready to move on to better things. Hehe

Broken Ko Ko Puff
Our little Kimber had a wonderful time at one of her favorite places in the world, "Hop to It", until she broke her arm. Don't quite understand how something like this could happen in a world of blown up slides and jumping castles. I guess we all grow up sometime. Hehe We will prevail! We shall jump, slide, ski, and ride bikes without fear! Some good shall come of this, more careful next time and dreams of a hot pink cast dance in our heads.
Haakes in Wonderland
I was trying to put in a video clip but my computer is apparently against it.(I'm sure it isn't my stellar skills in question. Heheh) At least I got this slide show figured out. Ireland, Sienna and Gigi had a great time in their school play, "Alice in Wonderland" It was fun to take the rest of the kids to watch their sisters. Kimber was very impressed and got to try on some of the costumes!

I hate Julie, but its fun any way!
The deal:The first 5 people to respond to this post will receive something made by me for you! It will be my choice and made especially for you. Just so we’re on the same page, here are the details: No guarantees you will feel absolute true love, but possibly happiness, fervor, or chocolate. What I create will be just for you. It will be done sometime this year. You have no clue what it will be… cookies, a photograph, a piece of homemade jewelry. It may be some other random thing I am capable of making or doing that would be enjoyable to you! I may bake something and mail it to you. Who knows? Not you! That’s for sure. I reserve the right to do something extremely strange.
The fine print (which is actually the same size, but whatever): You must re-post this on your blog and offer the same to the first 5 people who do the same on their blog. When you get your lovely homemade goods from me, post a picture on your blog so I know my love arrived without a hitch.
(A couple of reasons I like this: 1) I have an entire year to do it, and 2) I can do something extremely strange if I want. Cool.)
I got this from my friend Amy's blog. I thought it could end up being really fun, plus give me a chance to use my imagination a bit more. Who wants to play?
